Keizer Elks Lodge Cares

Again this year Keizer Elks Lodge partnered with Gubser Elementary who held their annual food drive and contributing 6,000 pounds of food and Perrydale Future Farmers of America contributing an amazing 10,000 pounds of produce. The Elks also donated $10,000 from member and community donations and Elks National Foundation (ENF) grant.

Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks (BPOE) members and volunteers boxed food for needy families at their annual Food Boxing on Friday, Dec. 14thin a well-orchestrated production line to be delivered Saturday morning.

The members and volunteers delivered food boxes for 225 families Saturday, December 15thmaking the holidays a bit brighter for families in need.

Of the families receiving boxes, 75 were families of deployed soldiers and the balance were for families in the community including Head Start program and Keizer schools.
